What are customers and the press saying about Teresonic loudspeakers |

“My first reaction to viewing the stylish Teresonic Ingenium speaker cabinets was that it was a bent RL Acoustique Lamhorn. Not! This cabinet is quite a structural feat…My time listening to the larger Ingenium speakers was short but I heard none of the typical Lowther nastiness. The diminutive Magus speakers were switched in soon after I entered and were amazing for their size. Efficiency is very high with these too, from 98 – 100 dB.” – Steve Marsh, Oct 2011 Read more... |

“This the first full range driver room we've been in. I have to say I really like the way see speakers sound. They are natural, and full. The mid bass is very good and vocals are excellent. Imaging is very nice!!! Focused and solid. Love the look of the amp.” – Pez, Facilitator, Oct 2011 Read more... |

“At the end of the day I crashed at the Teresonic room and listened to what I rated as that the best speakers in the show. I'm not going to review or rate any of the vendors--there are plenty of words already written about that. However, I will say that one or more of the top audiophile reviewers were there with me in the Teresonic room and agreed with me about their speakers. (Amazing, considering their relatively low price!)” – Damon Coffman, Oct 2011 Read more... |

“What really stole the [RMAF2011] show though (no, I didn't hear all the rooms) was the Teresonics. Just breathtaking and musical, and I was NOT a Lowther or backloaded horn fan. Priced reasonably for what they are. If I had 100k speakers I would sell them for 50k and buy three sets of these.” - Mor2bz Oct 2011 Read more... |

“The Ingeniums produce a natural sound which is just not found with most other speakers. Music possesses something special through these speakers, a particular coherence and ease peculiar to single-driver systems. It is just spooky real… On a Ben Webster tune I could hear the reedy quality of his tone, I could even hear the reed vibrating. Nothing in the playback was sluggish or muddy, but instead, clear as a bell. In fact, I am sure I could even feel the air coming out of the bell of his horn. On a Ray Brown Trio selection, the drums came across as drums should, punchy, sharp and percussive. Ray’s bass was deep, tuneful and fully present.” – Mike Quin, May 2011, Read more...

“After you left last Thursday, I spent over 7 hours listening to the Integrums! I haven't done that for well over 5 years! The Integrums are phenomenal, simply put I've never heard a better pair of speakers. The music they make cannot be described in the words I know. Majestic, startling, delicate, awe inspiring... They bring the performance right into my listening room. This is the first time I've ever been able to sit back and suspend belief, able to actually close my eyes and believe I was in the performers venue. It is uncanny how everything sounds like the actual thing making the music, be it human voices, strings, horns, pianos, drums, etc. First impulse and decay are beautiful. Low level music, almost at a whisper, is startling in it's detail while a split second later a fortissimo explodes but no details are missed! And the imaging is also so realistic. Sound staging and imaging is different from my previous speakers but seems completely holistic and believable. Everything Jack Roberts and Art Dudly stated about the Integrums are true. Now I know. And the Integrums are the finest finish quality I've ever seen. I'll never own another speaker unless Teresonic creates an even better version…” – BobW, Mt. Dora, Florida, June 2011

“What I can say with assurance is that Ingenium speakers are highly engaging, very musical and natural sounding, and can be mesmerizing. They are the best Lowther-based speaker system that I have heard and certainly among the top loudspeakers available.” – Jim Hannon, Nov 2010

|
“I own and have often said that for any price the Teresonic Ingenium DX 4 Silvers are the second best speakers I have ever heard…Even at that the room was always full and to me was still one of the top five sounding rooms at the show. They also had the little Magus with the new Lowther DX65 driver sitting on the floor next to their much bigger brothers. The little Magus really came to life in this room with this gear.” – Jack Roberts, Sep 2010 |
|
|
“The speaker loads the rear of its Lowther drive-unit with something between a quarter-wave horn and a transmission line to achieve an astonishing specified sensitivity of 100dB and LF extension to 30Hz, –3dB… the sound of the Ingeniums from LP did have superb dynamics and clarity, with good bass extension.” – John Atkinson, Jan 2010, Read more…

|
“There was no way a little single-driver speaker [Magus Silver XR] could produce such robust sound. Zssst. Wrong. After we listened for ten minutes, the speaker cables were switched and the Ingeniums belted out the beginning to "Also Sprach Zarathustra" with even greater spaciousness and low-end authority.” – Marc Mickelson, Jan 2010, Read more… |

|
“Magus Silver XR treble simply were airier, silkier, faster, and more extended... Its treble performance defies the fact that it is a single-driver speaker. Its midrange is more alive than any of my other favorite speakers including Quad ESL 57 electrostats...
The bass is ever quicker, tighter, carries a great beat, much bigger, and much more powerful. The truth is that the bass is more than I would have ever dreamed possible from a speaker this size.” – Jack Roberts, Nov 2009, |

“After listening to Dynaudio Consequence Ultimate, Sonus Faber Stradivari, and Focal Utopia Scala my system with Ingenium is simply superior in terms of natural sound and creating the illusion of live musical performance.” – HansK, Copenhagen, Denmark, November 2009

“I have been listening steadily to the Magus for the last month. They are the most emotionally expressive speakers I have ever had, and they are frequently stunning in their clarity and presentation of instruments/music. I am using a Luxman 20 Watt Class A amp, and it is a terrific combination. They certainly let you know how good the recordings are, but also sound great with average stuff.” – TomA, Midland, MI, August 2009 |
|
|
“Magus Silver added a significant degree of refinement, speed, nimbleness, and sweetness to the already exceptional small speaker... The bass is quick, tight, and carries a great beat. The truth is that the bass is the best I've ever heard from a speaker this size.” – Jack Roberts, July 2009, Read more…

“I must say Integrum’s are wonderful looking cabinets and the workmanship is just beautiful. All Teresonic speakers really are very sculptural and works of art in and of themselves (I say this from an art teacher's perspective!).” – ErikM, San Jose, CA, July 2009 |
|
|
“With the Ingenium Silver’s you experience all the textures and harmonics of live music. They let you hear how the decay of instruments and acoustical environments sound. The music blooms and feels much more like real music. The whole listening experience becomes about the sounds and feelings of the music in a way that transcends an electronic listening experience.” – Jack Roberts, Sept 2008, Read more...

They are beautiful, modern, yet still can nicely fit in many classic environments The resulting beautiful designs give the music function full opportunity to succeed. “The music that has been coming out Magus speakers over the last few weeks has been an amazing joy. I look at music so much differently now then I did even a month ago.” – Jeff Pickard, Campbell, California, July 2008 |

“The Integrum offered tunefulness and pitch certainty with clean and clear stereo imaging... “A superb product,” said Art Dudley, “especially for the SET-curious audiophile…” – Stereophile, Recommended Components, April 2008 |

|
“In comparison to the crossoverless speakers, all the two-ways are a little less transparent... Of the crossoverless designs, the Magus is the mini-monitor that is the best example of what I mean when I say a speaker can sometimes sound like real music... The Magus are better in the areas of Pace, Rhythm, and Timing than two-way B&W.” – Jack Roberts & The Flight of Mini-monitors, Part 4, May 08, Read more…

“I have never seen a more beautiful speaker. The (Integrum) cabinets look like they were built by fine European instrument builders because they were. The Jazz Artwork on the sides is a nice touch. Everyone that has come through has commented on how beautiful they are. By the way they sound even better than they look.” – jnr on audioasylum.com, March 2008, Read more…

"It has been several weeks since I received the Magus’s and installed them. I wanted to give them plenty of time to breath before I let you know the results. In a word, spectacular.
I was amazed with the sound difference with Magus. My Wharfedales sound like they were inside of a bag, muddy would be a good way to describe it... Teresonics have a great sound stage, they give the sound of not two speakers, but sound from everywhere in front of you... the Magus are very well presented. The finish is wonderful, my wife and I both love the looks.” – Arlene L, Illinois, Feb 2008

“The Teresonic Integrums deliver all the single-driver magic I had hoped for without any of the limitations of the other single-driver speakers I have heard... and make beautiful music!” – Jack Roberts realizes the promises of the single-driver speaker, May 2008, Read more… |

“The Teresonics (Ingenium) with the PM2T drivers actually do bass (and with no notch filter or swamping resister either!). And not little bits and pieces of weak flabby bass. I'm talking about room shaking, pant leg flapping, holy s… did you hear that, kinda bass… That is the best sounding single driver, full range speaker I've ever heard” – Scott Faller, Dec 2007, Read more… |

“The Magus was a Lowther to its soul with all of its tunefulness and lack of crossover distortion, they are so good at making music that it is amazing. They get the essentials right. The sound defies their size by many times. They have a sound as big and dynamic as the Audio Note E’s while being much more transparent.” – Jack Roberts & The Flight of the Mini-monitors, Part 1, Nov 2007, Read more… |

BD-Design, only the best! |
“Magus, a really small standmount monitor… performed quite sensational for such a small enclosure (-3db @ 55hz). In many aspects of the extension in a real room it is comparable to old quad ESL except that it is even more transparent, clean and can go very loud! – posted posted by anubisgrau, Sept 2007, Read more…

“The Teresonic (Magus) speakers are simply astonishing. The thing that stands out most is that I simply get lost in the music. It moves along effortlessly, and the dynamics are full in their variation and the pitch and timing bounce along. Makes everything else sounds flat and compressed. And they are far more detailed. Not in a Mark Levinson kind of way, but in how they let the instrument come through in all its subtlety. On acoustic guitar, my most listened to music, they sound dynamic, beautiful and expressive. Instead of hearing recorded music you hear a story unfolding before your ears! You are drawn in to hear where it's going and what's next. It demands your attention like a musician sitting in your room playing their tune.” – Budrew (A), AudioAsylum, Aug 2070, Read more…

“The Ingeniums allowed me to hear very deeply into the music. This was not the kind of treble highlighting that certain speakers display but rather, an incredible portrayal of the instrument’s harmonics… The human voice falls predominantly in the midrange, and through the Ingeniums it is magnificent. Listening to well recorded vocal recordings through the Ingeniums was always a treat. They were at once dynamic, full-bodied, and vivid; truly a sublime experience.” – StereoTimes, March 2007, Read more…

“Integrum ($7950/pair), is among the most wellthought-out products I’ve had the pleasure of using… There was something about the Integrums’ stereo imaging that I really liked—a sort of spatial cleanness and clarity that made it easy to tell where the soundfield began and ended… they’re so dramatic—and so impactful! – LISTENING by Art Dudley, Feb 2007, Read more…

“I am wholly impressed with the depths Teresonic (Ingenium) cabinet design takes the Lowthers to... depths that the Lowther drivers have never seen before. “The Ingeniums are lightning-fast. Be it the pluck of a string, the thwack of a stick, or the breath into a horn, the Ingeniums reproduce the sound with startling realism, imbuing the music with life and energy. By comparison, many other speakers seem dull and lifeless… They provide exquisite reproduction of vocals and acoustic music, be it folk, jazz or chamber. With such music the realism they provide is uncanny, and superior to that of many speakers on the market. They provide an emotional connection to the music that truly must be heard to be believed.” – Larry Borden, June 2006, Read more…

“I've had hundreds of hours performing as a classical violinist in small concert halls--and I think I know where of I speak. It is rare to hear a violin sound exactly like a violin should, but having played in the orchestra behind performers like Issac Stern and Pinchas Zukerman I know what their violins sound like in real life. The Integrums gave the most realistic reproduction I have heard from any speaker. There is a graininess, almost a growl or edge that is there in a live violin (of a good performer!). It requires a very quick system to produce it because the sound is most noticeable in the first few mill-seconds of a down bow attack.” – Damon C, Portland, Oregon, May 2006 Customer letter at: http://www.teresonic.com/ATT00414.pdf |

“Teresonic sound is amazingly natural… organic, not the faintest hint of coloration. They are downright addictive…far and away the most fascinating and formidable speakers I've yet encountered. You can listen to them day in and day out– it’s nearly hypnotic. Their ability to play loudly with only a few watts, made my sweet, but low power 2A3 SET produce incredibly big, dynamic sound I had never dreamed of.” – Neb Maricic, baritone, one of the greatest Mozart Figaro, performed in Scala, Vienna Opera, Opéra National de Paris, Bolshoi Theater… |
